This powerful disinfecting cleaner is made with Chlorine bleach. It is an incredible disinfectant that destroys microorganisms like viruses, bacteria, and fungi. This makes it a powerful cleaner for many household uses, for example:
- Disinfecting the bathroom
- Cleaning laminate, quartz, and sealed granite counters. NOTE: It is safer to use cleaners that are not as harsh on your sealed stone counters. You can check out the other cleaner I use on my sealed granite here.
- Highchairs and children’s toys
- Cleaning Laundry Hampers
- Trash Cans
- Vinyl, linoleum and tile flooring
What to Avoid
- Metal- which can discolor
- Painted surfaces- Can strip away paint
- Unsealed natural stone- Can be damaged.
- Wood surfaces- These are porous and can damage the surface and color.
- Fabrics- Will lead to stripping the color from the fabric.
- Electronics- Always use proper cleaner for your electronics.
Warning: Bleach will cause toxic fumes when mixed with other chemicals. Avoid mixing with anything other than water.

Using the funnel add your bleach.
Step 3.
Screw on the top and give it a light shake. Now it’s ready to use.
How long will my bleach cleaner last?
When sodium hypochlorite is exposed to light and air, it starts to break down. It is good practice to make your bleach solution fresh every day to guarantee optimal cleaning and disinfecting benefits. I though, will use mine for a week until it is gone. I don’t look for germs under a microscope. But, for things like my daughter’s highchair, it looks and smells very clean after.
If you want yours to last longer, use a solid-colored spray bottle.

How to Use this Powerful Disinfecting Cleaner
1. First make sure the surface you are going to clean is free of crumbs, food or dirt. To do this you can sweep it into your hands or use a sponge with a little soap or water on it.
2. Make sure your surface is dry.
3. Spray your bleach solution on your surface. To disinfect leave it on the surface for 5 to 6 minutes, then wipe clean. If it has dried, it has been disinfected. Still, I still like to spray and give it a good wipe down. Then let it air dry fully.
Helpful Tips
- Have proper ventilation. Opening windows or turning on a fan in the kitchen or bathroom. If you can’t, make sure you don’t stay in the area for a long period of time while cleaning.
- Wear gloves to protect your hands from the chemicals.
- Wear white clothing or clothing you don’t care about. Using bleach will dye your clothing if it gets onto it.
- Let the bleach solution sit on the surface for at least 1 minute. For optimal cleaning, let it sit for 5 to 6 minutes.
