Peanut Butter Power Bites

Materials

  • 2 Cups Peanut butter
  • 1 Cup Old fashioned oats (I like quick oats) Quick oats give it a less chewy texture than old fashion. However, old fashion oats fill you up more.
  • 1/4 Cup Honey

Instructions

  • Mix all of your ingredients into your bowl until it is well combined. Chill them in the freezer for about 20 minutes before you roll them into balls, or wear kitchen prep gloves to roll and set them on parchment paper. Let them freeze fully for about 2 hours before you put them into freezer bags.
  • Take a bag out and place it in the fridge to munch on through the week. If you want to put them into your or your kids lunch bags you can put them in frozen and they will thaw by snack or lunch time.

To Add more ingredient flavors:

  • Somethings you can try adding:
    Chocolate chips , unsweetened cocoa powder, cranberries, coconut, or raisins, espresso, protein powder, flax seeds, chia seeds, other types of seeds
  • You can keep a bag in the fridge for eating. However, my kids like to munch on them out of the freezer also.
